Q: What is the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign
A: Saint Timothy Academy's annual giving campaign is a critical aspect of the schools fundraising efforts. The United Knights Annual Fund Campaign
is an annual request for funds that make up the difference between what is received as tuition and the actual operating expenses of the school and its
expansion efforts. This means that every dollar donated to the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign directly benefits Saint Timothy Academy students. As our
annual giving campaign, the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign supports our small class sizes, superior teaching, a developing scholarship fund, and
special programs which are all an integral parts of the school.
Q: Why does Saint Timothy Academy need an annual giving campaign when parents already pay a substantial tuition?
A: The purpose of the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign is to extend the schools revenue sources through tax-deductible dollars rather than tuition
dollars. This means that every dollar given to Saint Timothy Academy in the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign is tax-deductible because STA is a 501(c)3.
Private schools across the country use annual giving campaigns to keep tuition at reasonable levels. It is no secret that the cost of tuition does not cover
the cost of a student's education at Saint Timothy Academy. It is necessary to raise additional funds to maintain and increase our standards of excellence.
Tuition revenue alone is not enough to sustain the quality of education and develop additional programs such as a library, new technology, expanded programs
and additional buildings.
Q: Who should participate in the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign?
A: It will take every STA Board of Trustee, administrator, faculty member, parent and friend to reach our goal of $25,000 by Monday, April 30, 2007.
It is important for the STA community to support this annual giving program 100%. Remember, grant issuing foundations look at our percentage of support when
they consider our grant proposals. Please pray about your donation and give generously!
Q: How much should we give?
A: No amount is too small. All donations to the United Knights Annual Fund Campaign will make a difference. Remember your monetary donation to the
United Knights Annual Fund Campaign is tax-deductible and will help Saint Timothy Academy continue to be a top Christian school of enrichment and excellence
for children with learning differences.
